​Q Will we require our own equipment? What equipment are we taught on?
A. You do not require your own equipment for the course. The course will be taught on the Pioneer CDJ-2000 NXS2 and DJM-900 NXS2 console at the Academy, which will be made available for you through the duration of the course
​Q. if i don't like classes After Enrollment ?
A. you get a 7-day free trial during which you can cancel at no penalty.
Q. When the new batches start ?
​A. Our new batches starts in every month
Q. What kind of equipment or software do i need to buy for the course ?
​A. You will need to bring your laptop and headphones. Everything else you need is included in with our course.
Q. Do you offer instalment plans ?
A. Yes ! we do offer the instalment plans. (NOT APPLICABLE WHEN YOU REGISTERED WITH ANY KIND OF COUPON CODE)
Q. do i need a degree in music to get a job in the field later on ?
A. degrees are a necessity for individuals who want to be a lawyers, doctor, scientist, or something of the nature. Degrees are not typical for people who want to work in the music industry (regardless if the position.) After all, studio owners, record labels and event organizers will not ask proof of a degree. Rather , they'll be interested in knowing what your qualifications are and what you previously worked on.


Q. Will we be taught on software such as Traktor, Serato, etc?
A. The course will cover mixing on only the CDJs. However, the course includes a detailed insight into Rekordbox Music Management, and how to better manage and arrange your music using Rekordbox
Q. Do students require any experience to be accepted ?
A. No. prior experience in required, just you know how to use computer/laptop and simply passion to learn.
Q. Post course completion, does MASHUP DJ Academy provide placements?
A. The Academy will not provide guaranteed placements to students upon completion of the course. That being said, we do provide our DJ course students with regular performance opportunities from time to time. A large number of our past DJ students have gotten opportunities to perform at various Clubs & Festivals through a network of promoters we are in touch with. This, however, is subject to your performance through the duration of the course.
Q. i don't speak or understand english. do you teach in Hindi ?
A. course are taught both in English and in Hindi.
Q. Are students allowed to practice before/after sessions, and do they have access to the equipment apart from the training hours?
In addition to the training hours, students will be given specific practice & recording sessions. Subject to availability of the console, students can schedule practice hours at the Academy
​Q. How many students are accepted into one batch?
A. There will be a maximum of 6 students in each batch​
